Brit Spaugh Zoo
When you step foot in the Great Bend Brit Spaugh Zoo you will find yourself embarking on a journey through the wildlife of several continents.

Raptor Center
The zoo boasts one of Great Bend's most prominent attractions, the Raptor Center. This state-of-the-art facility includes a raptor rehabilitation center and interpretive exhibits. Visitors can watch the operation of injured birds  through one-way mirrors and compare their wingspan to various raptors!

After that long walk through the zoo, take a moment to regroup and step inside the aquarium room which houses fish from all over the world. Relax and enjoy studying over the various different species of fish.

The zoo is home to many mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects. From elegant tigers to regal lions, the zoo shelters animals and gives visitors a chance to observe and learn about the natural world.  Other zoo residents include lemurs, peacocks, and a jaguar.

Grab a fish food bag from the Raptor Center and head out to the pond where colossal catfish, turtles, geese, swans, and other pond critters dwell.

Learn more about the zoo’s animals on a guided tour by calling the zoo at 620-793-4226.
