Step through the doors of the Raptor Center in Great Bend and begin a fascinating journey into the natural world. The main goal is is the medical rehabilitation of birds of all types, while specializing in eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, and vultures. Brit Spaugh Zoo is home to over 100 mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects. The center's crescent shaped building curves around the largest inland march in the United States. The Dominican Sisters of Heartland Farm provide 80 acres that will welcome you, nurture you, and introduce you to the peace and abundance of country life.  Visitors can explore the straw bale buildings, the acoustically perfect silo, learn about organic farming methods while participating in gardening activities, take a peaceful stroll through labyrinth, and discover much more.
Rosewood Winery is nestled in the heart of Rosewood Ranch.  They offer 13 types of quality wine made from the finest of grapes.  Tasting and tours are available during business hours.  Bring a picnic lunch or simply stay and enjoy the fall air with friends and family.
