- The club pursued recognition as a Kansas Historical Site and succeeded in getting that title in 1994.
- The facilities include paved pit areas with electricity hook ups.
- In 2000, the track was resurfaced and in 2003, a new compu-link system was installed and a new concession building was built with air conditioned restrooms with showers.
- In 2011, construction on a new tower was completed and 1320-go live timing was installed along with the addition of concrete barriers spanning from the quarter-mile to crossover road for safety.
Races take place about twice a month between the months of March and October.
