The city has made a commitment to its park, and it shows. There are picnic tables, lakes, beaches, trees, walking trails, soccer fields, a great zoo, places to fish, bike, skate, play horseshoes, or rent a paddle boat.
Opened in the Spring of 2012, the facility is the perfect location for tournaments. The complex provides plenty of parking space, playgrounds, batting cages, full concessions and restrooms.
Regular races take place about twice a month between the months of March and October at this historic dragstrip, where the first ever NHRA national event was held.
Wetlands Aquatic Center is another Great Bend surprise, and it's a refreshing one!
