  • Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area - 13,416 acres. 5 miles north, 2 miles east of Great Bend. Hunting & Fishing.

  • Wilson Wildlife Area - 8,039 acres. 57 miles northeast of Great Bend. Hunting & Fishing.

  • Kanopolis Reservoir - 13,000 acres. 45 miles northeast of Great Bend. Hunting & Fishing.

  • Quivira National Wildlife Refuge - 8,000 acres open to hunting. 25 miles southeast of Great Bend.

  • Pratt Sandhills Wildlife Area - 4,757 acres. 59 miles southwest of Great Bend

  • Texas Lake Wildlife Area - 560 acres. 53 miles southwest of Great Bend.

  • Hodgeman SFL & Wildlife Area - 254 acres. 66 miles west of Great Bend.

  • Stone Lake - Fishing Only. Great Bend.

  • Veteran's Lake - Fishing Only. Floating fishing bridge, handicap accessible. Great Bend.

  • MacArthur Lake - Fishing Only. Great Bend
