Seasonal Events

There are definitely four seasons in Kansas, and Great Bend celebrates each of them with special events and community traditions.

       

There is always something going on in Great Bend, no matter the time of year. During this beautiful season you can enjoy Shafer's beautiful gallery, get crafty with the KWEC, get spooky at the zoo boo, and so much more. Enjoy the magic of the autumn, pre-holiday season in Great Bend.

 The zoological society will host the well-known director of the Columbus  Zoo. Join Jack Hanna for presentations, questions, and more.

 Colors of Nature
 October 19, 2-4pm
 Kansas Wetlands Education Center
 Spinners, quilters, knitters - if you love fiber, this is the workshop for you!

 Zoo Boo and Halloween Parade

 October 25, 6-8pm
